Analog, back and affordable.

By the early '90s analog had gone from obsolete to fashionable again, and prices on the used market showed it. The Bass Station was new, small and cheap, and it was straightforwardly analog.

It has two oscillators, a switchable filter and MIDI, and it fits in a backpack. Its arrival showed the revival was real.
